What’s new in mDI – October 2025

in Product Update. Last Updated on October 30th, 2025

This month, we rolled out clearer SEO metrics in mDI so you and your customers can better understand what’s driving ranking readiness and visibility in search.

What’s New

  • Clarity: “SEO Score” and “SEO Level” are replaced with more intuitive terms that describe technical optimization, not ranking success.
  • New visibility insights: You can now see how often domains appear in search — not just whether they’re technically ready to rank.
  • Confidence in decisions: The new terminology and visibility data points make it easier to spot whether a website’s lack of performance is due to technical issues or low SERP exposure.

Plus, a new /api/domains endpoint enables bulk domain uploads of up to 10,000 domains at once for faster account setup and data ingestion.

Why We Did It

  • Simpler messaging: Partners can now explain SEO data more accurately to resellers or clients — reducing confusion and support questions.
  • More sales opportunities: The new SERP Visibility datapoint helps identify domains that are technically ready but underperforming in rankings, unlocking upsell potential for SEO or marketing services.
  • Better customer segmentation: Use Ranking Readiness and SERP Visibility Level to segment domains and create more targeted campaigns.

Operational efficiency: Use the new API endpoint to automate domain ingestion instead of manual CSV uploads.

Where You’ll See It

All updated and new datapoints are visible in Properties under SEO Audit in the mDI interface, available to create Analysis segments and Recipes, and of course accessible via the API.
